Dr. Pillay tests Qu by simulating a male patient with type 2 diabetes undergoing a type 2 diabetes check in assessment. He observes how Qu performs an in-depth evaluation to manage diabetes and address complications.
Dr. Pillay holds various roles in healthcare organizations, including Co-Chairperson of Africa Telehealth Collaboration, CEO of the Independent Practitioners Association Foundation, and Founding Member of the Digital Healthcare Association of South Africa. Dr. Pillay also serves as an advisor to several healthcare organization boards and as a faculty member at multiple universities.
Dr. Pillay qualified as a medical doctor (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1995. He has been practicing as a Family Practitioner in a Multidisciplinary General Practice for over 27 years and has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management, Outcomes-Based Care, Digital Transformation, and Innovation in Healthcare.
